Community Mending Circle

The times we are living in call for Mending, in many ways.

What is this Mending Circle?

A welcoming place to gather to mend clothing and other textiles and connect with our community.

This is a non-instructional, self-guided gathering. We can (and will!) share experiences and expertise, but everyone will do their own work with the help of other participants. Bring your own projects, meet fellow makers and menders, chat, listen and unplug.

Meeting Information

The Community Mending Circle meets every third Thursday of the month at Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church, VA. The first meeting is January 20, 2026.

Contact us at communitymendingcircle@gmail.com with questions.
